Socks with a smile : )

I am back to school, spring break has come and gone, and I am drowning in school work.  Luckily I have great plans for the weekend! Until then, I will share a past project.  In my first post I mentioned stray sock sewing.  As soon as I saw these little creatures I knew I had to partake.  The great thing about them is they all end up looking so unique!  I made this kitten for my soon to arrive niece.  Let us take a closer look at that sweet face...

Whew, I think I've met my cute quota for the day :)  I highly recommend grabbing a needle, some thread and a few socks and making an adorable companion of your own!  If you have made a sock friend, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see, so feel free to share!
